Double click

Double click means hitting the left button twice in a row quickly. There is a specified time within which you have to press the mouse button twice for it to register as a double click. See my Control Panel notes for how to change this.

If you left click twice in a row, but outside of this time, then you have simply done two left clicks.
There is no such thing as double right click.

There is a triple click in Word, but this is not a standard function.
